G?teborg and Halmstad lock horns in this Allsvenskan round 23 clash at Gamla Ullevi very early Tuesday morning Beijing time. Allsvenskan is the highest tier of Swedish football. The level of this league is somewhat mediocre by European standards.. Football fans and us serious, profit-hungry bettors can expect a match of clearly below average level by this league's standards here.. However, we have won five of the last six bets/picks in this league and have yet another very interesting betting opportunity! Last season Halmstad finished in 12th place with 36 points in their pocket. G?teborg ended up in 13th place with 34 points to their account. This season, too, has been a difficult one for both teams.. The last two teams are relegated directly to Superettan for next season. Indeed, the stakes here are high as G?teborg are only in 13th place with only 22 points. However, their number of expected points (xPTS) is higher.. They were disappointing against G?teborg as well but the visitors did unarguably play at a decent level.. They even recorded three more shots on goal. However, H?cken had 74% ball possession and had more goal attempts, shots off goal, corner kicks (12-2), attacks and dangerous attacks. Indeed, they should have won the game in the end.. Before this they bookies expected a very balanced clash between G?teborg and Hammarby at Gamla Ullevi but the visitors outplayed the lame hosts! They had 63.40% ball possession and recorded many more goal attempts (13-4), shots on target, shots off target, corner kicks, attacks and dangerous attacks – 65-33. They have won one of their last four matches.. In their last game they were priced around 10.00(!) to beat Elfsborg at home. The visitors took a 1-0 win but Halmstad had more goal attempts and shots off goal. Both teams managed three shots on target and the visitors had more attacks. Halmstad's performance against a very strong opponent was satisfactory. The players kept fighting right until the final whistle. Before this Halmstad lost Mj?llby, currently in 7th place, 1-3 on the road as big underdogs. The hosts had four shots on target – Halmstad managed two. The visitors did however, record many more attacks (128-62) and dangerous attacks. Halmstad's performance was not great but not terrible either.. The final score flatters Mj?llby to some extent.. The expected goals (xG) numbers were 1.56-0.52 in Mj?llby's favour.
